The School District Of Lee County: Five Superintendent Candidates Selected For Interviews

The School Board of Lee County has approved five candidates as semi-finalists for the next Superintendent of the School District of Lee County. The five semi-finalists are:

• Christopher Bernier
• Michael Gaal
• Randy Mahlerwein
• Charlie Perry
• Michael Ramirez

The resume and information on each candidate can be found on the Superintendent Search District's web page. 

The five candidates will be interviewed virtually by the School Board on January 18th and 19th. All of the interviews will be posted to the District’s YouTube Channel the evening of the 19th.

Parents and community members are encouraged to watch the interviews and share any feedback they have through the comment section at the bottom of the Superintendent Search page.

The Board will hold a briefing on Monday, January 24th to narrow the candidate field to three, and will vote on the three finalists at the Action Meeting on January 25th. More information about the process for the finalist interviews will shared after the finalists are approved.
