Free Latin Jazz Concert In Park This Weekend

Put on your dancing shoes and head over to the first Latin Jazz in the Park event this Saturday at Shenandoah Park​.

MIAMI, FL — Put on your dancing shoes and head over to the first Latin Jazz in the Park event this Saturday at Shenandoah Park.

Presented by Miami Commissioner Manolo Reyes, the event will feature hip-shaking music and activities for the entire family.

"This family-friendly musical event is free to the public, thanks to the generous sponsorship of our community partners, the Shenandoah Homeowners Association, FunCity, Versailles Restaurant, Florida Power and Light, WDNA 89.9 FM, Amor 107.5 FM and Jungle Island," according to city officials.

Latin Jazz artists, to include the Miami Senior High Million Dollar Band, Miguel Russell Latin Experience, PALO! and the Nestor Torres Trio will perform from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

FunCity will provide free cotton candy, popcorn, games and bounce houses for the event. Other food is available for purchase.

“Music brings the entire community together, and I am proud to be able to offer this free event to our residents in a day of Latin jazz and events for the whole family,” said Commissioner Reyes.

Shenandoah Park is located at 1800 SW 21 Avenue in Miami.
