MIAMI, FL -- A 44-year-old Hialeah man was accused of the execution-style slayings of a woman and the man she lived with at a Mobil gas station early Thursday morning in southwest Miami-Dade. The couple was gunned down with a rifle as they sat in a white BMW, according to Detective Christopher Thomas of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Oscar R. Blanco of the 1600 block of West 57 Terrace, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder with a firearm and was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, Thomas said.

Thomas told Patch that Blanco shared a family tie with the female victim though the two were never married or in a relationship. He did not elaborate on the family tie.

The slayings took place around 12:06 a.m. as the couple sat in a white 2014 BMW sedan at the Mobil located at 11860 SW 40 Street.

"The subject approached the victim's vehicle while driving a 2018 White Ford F-150 pickup ... and brandished a rifle -- shooting into the victim's vehicle several times," arrest documents charged.

"The subject then walked into the Mobil gas station with the rifle in his hand to inform the Mobil gas station clerk to call the police," the documents said.

Arrest documents said Blanco placed the rifle on the driver's front seat of his pickup truck and waited for police to arrive to be taken into custody. The murders were captured on surveillance video, according to Miami-Dade police.

"The subject made a spontaneous statement, stating 'you have everything on video so there's no need for me to talk,'" arrest documents added.

The victims were identified as 44-year-old Roxana Llorens and 55-year-old Randall H. Browning, both of the 24000 block of SW 157th Avenue in Homestead.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel pronounced Browning dead on the scene and took Llorens to Kendall Regional hospital, where she later died.
