Homeless Man Accused Of Assaulting 16-Year-Old Girl In Miami-Dade
A 32-year-old homeless man was arrested Friday night in connection with an earlier sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl.

MIAMI, FL -- A 32-year-old homeless man was arrested Friday night in connection with an earlier sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl as she walked to her bus stop.
Michael Canady was charged with kidnapping with a weapon and armed sexual battery, according to Detective Argemis Colome of the Miami-Dade Police Department.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday at SW 267th Street and SW 142nd Ave.

"The victim disclosed while walking to her bus stop, the defendant placed a knife to her back and demanded she walk with him to a nearby construction site," arrest documents stated.
"The defendant fondled her breast and attempted to remove her clothing," according to the documents.

Canady allegedly exposed himself to the girl and forced her to perform oral sex, the documents alleged.
