1. South Beach nightclubs will put up hundreds of thousands of dollars in an effort to stop a November ballot referendum that is meant to scale back the closing time of nightlife to 2 a.m. from 5 a.m. The measure is non-binding, but would give the city commission more momentum to regulate nightlife in one of the world's most popular nightlife destinations. 2. Domino's Pizza employees were robbed at gunpoint in Deerfield Beach back in August. Broward Sheriff's Office detectives have now released surveillance video of two men who robbed the restaurant. (CBS Miami)
3. The popular Joe’s Stone Crab Restaurant in Miami Beach opened its doors for its 108th season on Friday. In observation of COVID-19, the parking lot will be used an outdoor seating area for guests. (WSVN)
4. Miami Dade College is set to house a KIPP Charter school building that is expected to be built by July 2022. The building will house KIPP Royalty Academy and KIPP Courage Academy in a $30 million development. The two educational institutions will create a dual-enrollment program as well to give more opportunities to students. (Miami Today)
5. Bayshore Club waterfront restaurant and bar is opening this winter at Regatta Harbour, taking over Scotty’s Landing. It will focus on a retro tropical theme and open ahead of the actual Regatta Harbour, which will not open until early 2022. (Secret Miami)
