MIAMI, FL -- Three members of a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crew were injured early Thursday when their truck crashed along a rain-soaked stretch of the Florida Turnpike.
All three members of the crew were taken to an area hospital in stable condition, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The single-vehicle crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. at Quail Roost Drive.
"Moments before the crash, the crew had stopped to assist a driver who had spun out due to bad weather," the agency reported.

The truck was designated as R34.
