Miami-Dade Motorcycle Crackdown Underway

MIAMI, FL -- A crackdown on motorcycle violations was underway Thursday night in Miami-Dade County, according to police.

"The Miami-Dade Police Department Motorcycle Unit will be conducting high visibility enforcement of motorcycle safety violations in Miami-Dade County," explained Detective Argemis Colome of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Colome said the operation was expected to run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday night with specific areas of saturation along SW 40 Street.
