Miami-Dade School Employee Accused Of Sex With 15-Year-Old Boy
A Miami-Dade school employee and media pastor has been accused of luring a 15-year-old boy from the school where he worked into having sex.

MIAMI, FL -- A Miami-Dade school employee and media pastor has been accused of luring a 15-year-old boy from the school where he worked into having sex with him through an internet dating app.
Forty-five-year-old Victor Brantley was charged with lewd lascivious battery sexual activity and related offenses in connection with an alleged encounter with the boy last Saturday. Brantley, a computer tech for the school district, also served as a media pastor at Redland Church of the Nazarene in southwest Miami-Dade.
"The allegations against this individual are inexcusable and shameful," said John Schuster of Miami-Dade County Public Schools in a statement. "In line with our zero-tolerance guiding principles against inappropriate behavior with students, the district has initiated employment termination proceedings."

Detective Alvaro Zabaleta of the Miami-Dade Police Department said that Brantley befriended the boy on a dating application, which was identified in court documents as Grinder.
"After convincing the victim, he met him in an area near his house. They then returned to his residence, where he performed lewd and lascivious acts on the victim," said Zabaleta.

Zabaleta urged other potential victims to call the Miami-Dade Police Department's Special Victims Bureau at 305-715-3300.
"Post Miranda, the defendant admitted to the allegations and stated he knowingly engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim after knowing he was a minor," court documents explained.
Miami-Dade County Judge Renatha S. Francis ordered Brantley to stay away from the boy.
"You are to have no contact with that victim," she told Brantley during a court proceeding on Wednesday. "You are to stay 500 feet away from the victim."
The judge also ordered Brantley to stay off social media as a condition of his bail.
"Every social media," he asked.
"No social media. No dating websites," the judge said.
Schuster added that Brantley would also be prevented from seeking future employment with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
