Miami Police Arrest Mother Of Toddler Left At Hospital

The mother of a toddler who was dropped off at a local hospital has been arrested.

According to police, 33-year-old Carolina Vizcarra approached an off-duty Miami police officer and another person at Mercy Hospital on Tuesday and asked if they could watch her while she went to the bathroom. She then gave the person the girl’s Social Security card and walked away.

When told she didn’t have to do this, Vizcarra said “leave me alone” as she left the hospital.
