MIAMI, FL -- It's the one day of the year when we instinctively reach for green beer, when we comically put an "O" in front of our names and when we unabashedly insist that we have what it takes to be in "Riverdance."

St. Patrick's Day 2019 is upon us and there's no shortage of celebrations around the Miami area to be wearing the green this weekend.

Shamrock In The Park

Palmetto Bay Village and neighboring communities celebrate "Relay for Life" on Saturday to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event will feature food, games, a kid’s zone, silent auction and a free concert with local bands and talent. The event runs from 2 to 9 p.m. at Coral Reef Park.

Krispy Kreme

The chain will be offering its O'riginal Glazed doughnut with specially formulated green dough over the entire St. Patty's Day weekend beginning on Friday.

For the first time, thousands of Krispy Kreme fans will win a “Golden Dozen Pass” worth free Original Glazed doughnuts for a year – one dozen per month through St. Patrick’s Day 2020. Multiple customers will win a Golden Dozen Pass each day at every participating shop.

Yard House

Yard house celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a new Pub Fare menu featuring Irish-inspired dishes and drinks through April 8. Guests can enjoy Whiskey Black Pepper Wings,
Corned Beef Egg Rolls, Shepherd’s Pie & Mash, Grilled Guinness Cheddar & Braised Beef Melt and Whiskey Glazed Salmon. On March 17, guests can also enjoy an ice cold, green beer upon request.

American Social

Start the weekend with the Shamrocks and Cocktails Happy Hour $3 margaritas and wines, $5 specialty shots and $8 specialty cocktails. On Saturday, ladies enjoy the Pot o'Gold Bottomless Mimosa Brunch and drink specials for until 1 a.m. These include $4 Green Beer and $9 Irish Car Bombs. Finally, wrap it up at AmSo on Sunday with an Irish Breakfast from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Green beers and Irish Car Bombs await you at American Social.

Duffy’s

The sports bar will host a St. Patrick’s Weekend Party at all locations. The event features ½ pound Corned Beef & Cabbage for $12.95; $4 Guinness Draft Pints and $5 Jameson shots. Guests can score free swag and giveaways plus enjoy live entertainment including live music, DJs, balloon artists and face painters. Exclusive T-shirts will be available for purchase at every location while supplies last.

Now through March 17, guests can enjoy a “Taste of Ireland” menu with Loaded Potato Soup, Irish Potato Skins, Reuben Burger and Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Pie.

Beaker & Gray

For St. Patrick’s Day, the bar team at Beaker & Gray has partnered up with Teeling Irish Whiskey to create the bar’s featured cocktail for March. Priced at $11 for the holiday, “The Irish Hello” is made with Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey, amontillado, oats syrup, and coconut cream served over a coffee ice square. As a part of the “Lunch/Dinner with Mr. Hill,” the restaurant will offer specialty beers for $5 and Irish whiskeys for $7 at the bar and lounge. Veza Sur Brewing Co.

Need a little extra luck this St. Patrick’s Day? Veza Sur Brewing Co., Wynwood's Latin-inspired craft brewery, is offering a beer special that will have you feeling the luck of the Irish. In honor of the holiday, the brewery will serve a green Lucky Lager for $5 all day long Saturday and Sunday, while live music by Brazilian band, UMA GALERA will keep the pachanga going all day long on Sunday.

E11EVEN Miami

Come get lucky at E11EVEN Miami this St. Patrick’s Day. CityPlace Doral

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday when CityPlace kicks off the weekend with live music, live painting, stilt walkers, a high-energy performance by Dance South Florida and novelty giveaways for everyone to enjoy. St. Patrick’s Day Party to Benefit Cancer Clinical Trials and Lifesaving Research
