2 Ex-FL School Staffers Accused Of Unlawful Behavior With Students

Per media reports, two ex-Palm Beach Co. employees are facing charges after allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior with students.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Two former staffers with the Palm Beach County School District were arrested after being accused of inappropriate behavior with students, media reports say.

The employees were identified in the reports as 30-year-old Royal Palm Beach High School non-instructional staffer Jordan Augustine and 21-year-old Woodlands Middle School substitute teacher Corey Pierce.

Augustine was charged on suspicion of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors and offenses against students by authority figures, while Pierce was charged on suspicion of lewd or lascivious exhibitions of someone less than 18 years old and solicitation of lewd conduct with a student by an authority figure, WPTV reported.

Royal Palm Beach School Principal Michelle Flemming said Augustine's suspected inappropriate behavior with students occurred off-campus, CBS 12 reported.

Woodlands Middle School Principal Jen Kuras told parents and guardians in an email that Pierce has been fired from the school, CBS 12 reported.
