Small Plane Crashes At South FL Golf Club: Palm Beach Fire Rescue
A small plane crashed at Banyan Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Monday morning, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — The pilot of a small plane survived after crashing at a West Palm Beach golf course on Monday morning, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue wrote in a Facebook post.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. at Banyan Golf Club at 1393 Lyons Road, south of Southern Boulevard, authorities said.
The plane involved in the incident was a single-engine Thatcher CX4, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The pilot — the plane’s only occupant — got out of the aircraft immediately after the crash, PBCFR said. They met “trauma alert” criteria and were brought to a local trauma center.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the incident.
