Funeral Details Released For FL Trooper Killed In On-Duty Crash
The Florida crash happened during a police chase and claimed the lives of both a state trooper and a semi-truck driver.
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL — A Florida trooper killed during a police chase in St. Lucie County last week is set to be buried Monday, the Florida Highway Patrol said Thursday.
Trooper Zachary Fink, 26, was hit and killed after crashing with a semi-truck on Interstate 95 near Crosstown Parkway during the chase, per News Channel 8.
Arsenio Mas, 55, of Homestead was identified by the FHP late Wednesday night as the truck driver who also died in the interstate crash.

Authorities accused 30-year-old Michael Anthony Addison, of Lauderdale by The Sea, of causing the crash by fleeing from agencies trying to conduct a traffic stop.
Addison was charged on suspicion of two counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of felony homicide and driving without a license causing death or serious injury by the FHP, authorities said in the past.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office charged him on suspicion of flee to elude police with lights/sirens activated and out of county warrant from Broward County Sheriff's Office-aggravated battery, authorities said.
Addison was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail without bond, authorities said. He remained incarcerated Thursday, jail records show.
Funeral Arrangements for Trooper Zachary Fink
A memorial service is planned for Fink at 11 a.m. Monday at the Christ Fellowship Church in Port St. Lucie, the FHP said. There will not be a graveside service or viewing.
The service will be live-streamed on Fink's online memorial site, the FHP said. A private law-enforcement escort for Fink's family is scheduled following the memorial.
Fink will be given full line-of-duty death honors at the church during the memorial, the FHP said.
Proceeds are being collected for the Fink family, authorities said.
