Amber Alert For Clarkston Toddler Continues After SUV He Was Taken In Is Found

CLARKSTON, GA — The Amber Alert issued Wednesday for a Clarkston toddler continues, although police have located the SUV he was taken in.

Deonna Bray was taking groceries out of the grey Ford Explorer Wednesday morning when someone jumped into the vehicle and sped off with 1-year-old Blaise Barnett inside, Channel 2 Action News.

Clarkston Police issued the alert Wednesday morning and were able to locate the SUV around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Brannon Hills condominium complex near Memorial College Avenue. But young Blaise and his car seat were gone, Clarkston police said.

A witness saw a man near the vehicle, but police said they released the man after they found him and interviewed him.

"Just bring him home," Bray said to Channel 2, hoping her televised message would reach whoever had the child. "He's no harm."

Blaise is a Black boy with brown eyes and brown hair who was last seen wearing a black shirt with blue dinosaurs, diapers and no pants and wrapped in a blanket.
