Man Deposits Cash Into ATM, But Never Receives It: Report

GEORGIA — A Georgia man deposited cash into a Bank of America ATM, but says it never reflected on his new balance.

When an ATM malfunctioned, Charlie Harris of Gwinnett County, told WSB-TV that he lost a couple hundred dollars. He said he self-deposited $260 to go towards bills on Friday. Only $20 showed up.

A customer service representative told Harris that they’ve received similar complaints from customers about the ATM on Greyson Highway in Lawrenceville, reported WSB.

It could take weeks for Harris to receive all of his money back as the bank investigates, they reported.
