A headless body was discovered in the woods near a Burger King and America's Best Value Motel in Macon, GA, according to multiple reports.

GEORGIA — Bibb County investigators have opened a case after finding headless human remains Monday behind a Burger King in Macon, according to multiple reports.
According to WGXA, Coroner Leon Jones said the remains were found Monday on Romeiser Drive, off Eisenhower Parkway. Someone walking through the woods discovered the body and called 911. There was no skull, only bones and skin.
“We’re going to need to get a shovel and dig around the body so we can get everything in the body bag so the GBI Crime Lab will have all of the body to process,” Jones told WGXA.
