Shaq Donates $5K To Reward For Wanted Henry County Officer Murder Suspect
NBA star Shaquille O'Neal gave $5K to a reward to find the man accused of murder charge in the death of a Henry County police officer.

STOCKBRIDGE, GA — A reward for the arrest of a man accused of fatally shooting a Henry County Policeman has doubled after NBA great Shaquille O’Neal contributed to the amount.
Thursday evening Officer Paramhans Desai was shot and when he tried to arrest 22-year-old Jordan Jackson while responding to a domestic dispute at a home near Florida Drive in McDonough. Jackson, who is being accused by police of shooting Desai, sped away and a police reward of $30,000 was issued with a warrant for his arrest on aggravated assault charges.
Desai died Monday at Grady Memorial Hospital, police said, and the reward was subsequently increased to $60,000.

O’Neal, who is an NBA analyst and Community Relations Director for the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, contributed $5,000 to the original reward, sheriff’s officials told Patch.

Jackson remained at large Tuesday wanted now on aggravated assault and murder charges and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations has taken lead in the case, issuing a Blue Alert — a safety alert for suspects wanted for either severely injuring or killing a police officer.
He was last seen in a white 2016 Honda Civic, Georgia license plate RXF0384, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants. Jackson, a 5-foot, 6-inch, 165-pound black man, is considered armed and dangerous, the GBI said.
