Stacey Abrams Tests Positive For COVID-19 Following Atlanta Speech

The Democratic candidate for Georgia governor announced her positive test Tuesday, a day after she delivered an economic address in Atlanta.

GEORGIA — Stacey Abrams, the Democratic nominee for Georgia governor, tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday morning, she announced on social media.

The positive test comes just a day after she gave an economic address in Atlanta. She tested negative before the event, she said.

Abrams, who is fully vaccinated and has received a booster shot, is experiencing mild symptoms and will isolate at home for "the next few days," she said.
