Watch Police Officers Trap Alligator Found In GA Family's Garage: VIDEO
The Donalsonville Police department trapped and relocated a fully-grown alligator that was found in a Georgia family's garage.
GEORGIA — One Georgia family was in for an unpleasant surprise when they found an adult alligator in their garage.
The Donalsonville Police department shared photos and videos on its Facebook page of their efforts to trap and relocate the alligator that was at a home in Donalsonville. The alligator was found underneath a truck.
Donalsonville is in southwest Georgia near the Florida and Alabama borders.

The video shows an officer quickly looping a rope around the alligator’s neck, who then thrashes around in the yard. The officers then tie it up to prepare for the relocation.
“What are y’all going to do when all of them baby gators hatch out in the yard?” an officer is heard jokingly asking in the video.

“Call y’all again,” the homeowner says back.
Chief Deputy Hank Bagwell, Investigator Kale King, Seminole County Code Enforcement Bill McClendon, and a concerned citizen helped capture the alligator.
The Department of Natural Resources will relocate the gator, officials said.
