Palmer Middle School students recently benefitted from an onsite field trip by Diamond Del in an effort to spark interest in learning about rocks and minerals.
Georgia Performance Standards and Common Core Literacy standards were combined as students followed scientific inquiry practice to classify a wide selection of rocks and minerals that they collected by panning.
