Suspect in Acworth-Area Armed Robberies Arrested
The suspect is accused of committing at least four armed robberies in unincorporated Kennesaw and Acworth, police said.

Cobb County police have arrested the man they believe is responsible for a series of armed robberies in the Kennesaw and Acworth areas.
Bobby Carpenter, 26 of Kennesaw was arrested by Doraville police Wednesday afternoon and is currently in their custody facing similar charges, Cobb County police said Thursday.
Investigators with the Cobb County Police Department have secured three different warrants for Carpenter and are working on getting a fourth warrant secured, the department said.

Carpenter will faces charges related to the armed robbery of a Kennesaw-area Burger King on Oct. 5, the armed robbery at an Acworth-area Racetrac on Oct. 6, and the robbery of an Acworth-area QuikTrip on Oct. 11, according to police.
