2 Charged With Murder After Body Found Along Athens Railroad Track
Police have identified the person whose body was found earlier this month along a railroad track in Athens.
ATHENS — Two people have been arrested in connection with the Dec.3 killing of a man who was found dead along a railroad track west of North Avenue, near Willow Street, Athens-Clarke County Police said Wednesday.
Police identified the man who died as Jarrard Pittard, 42, of Athens. Police did not say how Pittard died.
Andre Carthens, 46, and Antion "Blue" Parks, 31, both of Athens were arrested Tuesday and charged on suspicion of malice murder.
