UNLV Gunman Who Killed 3 Graduated From UGA: Report
The 67-year-old man was accused of killing three people and injuring a fourth person on the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS — The shooter who killed three people Wednesday at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, campus before being shot to death by police was a University of Georgia graduate, Atlanta News First reported Thursday.
The suspect was identified as Anthony Polito, 67. ABC News reported Polito failed to be hired as a college professor at UNLV after applying for the role.
UGA confirmed to Atlanta News First that Polito graduated from the university with a doctorate's degree in 2002.

His LinkedIn profile shows he graduated from UGA's Terry College of Business and worked as an associate professor for more than 15 years at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
In addition to the four victims shot, three fatally and the fourth critically, four people were taken to hospitals due to symptoms of panic attacks, Las Vegas Metro Sheriff Kevin McMahill said, according to CNN. Two law enforcement officers suffered minor injuries while searching for victims, the sheriff said.
Around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said the suspect was contained. About five minutes later, police said the gunman was "located and is deceased."
