An Athens Man Just Won $2.5 Million
Donald McColman pulled a top prize in a Georgia Lottery scratch-off game.

Donald McColman went into the Jimbo's on Macon Highway recently, grabbed a $100 Million Lucky Fortunes lottery card, and scratched his way to two and a half million dollars.
“I grinned when I shared it with the proprietor,” McColman said in a news release from the Georgia Lottery. “She jumped up and down and gave me a hug. She was excited.”
McColman, 66, was presented a big check at the store this week. He and his wife, Julie, plan to use the money for savings and a retirement home, the release said.
