Georgia Brass Band to Perform Free Concert on Sept. 29th

The Georgia Brass Band returns to UGA’s Hodgson Concert Hall (230 River Road Athens, GA 30605) for a special performance at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2019. The Georgia Brass Band is a traditional British-style brass band that has entertained audiences throughout the Southeast and beyond for more than 20 years.

This free concert features brass masterworks that highlight the band’s virtuosic skills and musical range. UGA Professor Philip Smith, former Principal Trumpet of the New York Philharmonic, will be the featured soloist.
