Harbor Club On Lake Oconee Adds Third Dry Boat Storage Building
The community's Boathouse Marina is progressing to be the largest on the lake, and is open to the public.

As it progresses to be the largest marina on Lake Oconee, Harbor Club has announced the completion of the third dry-stack boat storage building at its award-winning marina facility, The Boathouse, tucked on the east shore of Lake Oconee.
In keeping with the second boat storage building, the third building has a flexible design that allows for the storage racks to vary in height in order to accommodate high-profile water craft.
Says Marina Manager Jerry Cash, “The new storage building will allow us to store any boat with a tower, plus T-Top center console boats.”

The new building is currently configured to accommodate 36 standard size boats and 18 high-profile watercraft, but those numbers can vary as needed. Roughly half of the storage spaces in the third building have already been reserved, and The Boathouse master plan allows for additional storage buildings as demand increases. The boat storage at the marina is available to both Harbor Club residents and those who live outside of the community.
Winner of the 2016 Aurora Award from the National Association of Homebuilders for the “Best Recreational Facility in the Southeast,” The Boathouse marina services for launching and loading boats is available year round. The facility also sells marine fuel all year and can provide shrink wrap services for complete off-season protection of your boat from the elements. The popular Boathouse restaurant and Grand Lawn concert series is seasonal and open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The Boathouse is located just outside of Harbor Club’s east gate on Walker Church Road, a mile south of the Richland Connector. It is situated on the Richland Creek side of Lake Oconee, known for the clearest waters on the lake. By boat it is roughly three miles north of the Ritz-Carton Lodge.
