Man Found Dead Along Railroad Track In Athens
The man was found dead along a railroad track near North Avenue and Willow Street, police said.
ATHENS — A man was found dead Sunday along a railroad track west of North Avenue, near Willow Street, Athens-Clarke County Police said Monday.
Police said officers responded around 1:30 p.m. to a deceased person call, when they found the man. He had not been identified as of Monday, and it is unknown how he died.
Athens-Clarke County detectives are investigating the cause and manner of the man's death.
