It wasn't that long ago when we headed down Alps Road and were greeted by the smile and red locks of Wendy, the namesake for the fast-food chain started by Dave Thomas. But last weekend, Wendy was gone, along with her sign and her customers. Was it something we said?
For Wendy's lovers, there are still Athens locations on Prince Avenue and Barnett Shoals Road.
