ATLANTA, GA — Though summer does not official begin until June, weather officials are warning of hot temperatures ahead this week for Georgia.

As people make plans, they may want to prepare for temperatures in the 90s, which can come as early as Thursday.

The National Weather Service on Tuesday indicated humidity and summer-like temperatures are in store for Georgians the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Of course, this is in addition to the downpour determined to rain on Georgia's parade.
