Man Wanted In Connection With Atlanta Waffle House Shooting

Atlanta police have released photos of a man wanted in connection with a June 3 shooting at Waffle House.

ATLANTA, GA—Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for a shooting that occurred at a popular restaurant chain last month.

On June 3, officers responded to the Waffle House located at 112 Courtland St. NE in reference to a person shot.

After arriving on scene, officers located a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

According to a police report, witnesses stated that there was a fight inside the restaurant minutes before the shooting involving the suspect and another black man seen wearing a white, LA Lakers jersey.

According to police, the suspect was last seen fleeing in a white Audi Q8 SUV. He was wearing an orange hat, white tank top and light blue jeans.

Police said the suspect is currently wanted for aggravated assault.
