  1. Though Atlanta continues to attract tech talent, the annual Scoring Tech Talent report shows the city's competition is growing at a faster pace. Tech jobs in Atlanta grew by 7 percent last year, while cities like Dallas (15 percent), Denver (23 percent), and Vancouver (63 percent), proved they were able to attract and develop tech talent at higher rates.   2. The Atlanta Division of the FBI says there is a rise in sextortion crimes across the nation. The number of adults pretending to be young girls to coerce teenage boys to create sexual images via social media is on the rise. The Atlanta FBI has received 50 reports of sextortion victims throughout Atlanta for 2022 compared to 21 victims in 2021. (WRBL)
  3. Atlanta native and Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Baby is looking to give out 100 jobs to young people in Atlanta. The rapper is working with well-known business owner Lemont Bradley to provide 100 jobs to people under the age of 21. The pair reportedly want to provide a positive outlet and revenue stream for these young people. (CBS 46 News)
  4. As of Wednesday evening, Atlanta police were searching for four men who they claim robbed man at outside of Waffle House. Each of the men reportedly pointed a gun in the victim's face while he sat in his car at the Howell Mill Road Waffle House on Jul. 5 at around 6:15 a.m. The men took the victim's wallet, phone, backpack, and wallet before leaving in a Nissan Sentra.
