  1. Google may be the answer for the Olive Street Bridge! The City Engineering Services of Augusta voted Tuesday to inform Google, Apple, and Waze about the ten-foot six-inch clearance of the infamous railroad bridge. They are hoping the GPS services of the internet giants will be able to warn drivers to turn around if they are driving tall vehicles. (Subscription: Augusta Press)
  2. A Georgia State Senate task force met on Tuesday to discuss the continued need for hospitals to have a Permit prior to building or adding facilities. The debate centers around whether hospitals should be required to obtain a Certificate of Need, or if new facilities can be built in communities of less than fifty thousand individuals. Augusta University Health is one of the organizations in the middle of this controversy. (WRDW)
  3. Family YMCA of Greater Augusta is currently providing summer meals for children. Children from Richmond and other Georgia counties will be able to partake in meals at multiple different YMCA locations. Two of the summer food program partners are Bright From the Start in Georgia, and The Department of Education in South Carolina. (WJBF-TV)
