- Uber launched a new feature in Augusta that helps families on the go by allowing parents and guardians to invite their teens (ages 13-17) to create a specialized Uber account. This account allows teens to request their own rides and order food with parental supervision. There are also safety features built in to protect teens traveling. (WJBF)
- A missing woman in Augusta has been found safely after going missing. According to the Richmond Richmond County Sheriff's Office, 79-year-old Linda Scarbrough suffers from dementia and arthritis. She had gone missing without her wheelchair on Algernon Circle on Friday at 9:00 a.m. (WFXG)
- During the 13th Annual Augusta Pride Festival, love and acceptance were proudly displayed as approximately 16,000 people attended. Performers nationwide performed during the two-day festival, including Carmit from the Pussycat Dolls and Stacy Layne Matthews from RuPaul’s Drag Race. The event was said to bring in approximately $1.4 million and hopes to continue to bring joy to the LGBTQ+ community. (Post and Courier)
