Woman Robbed, Shot At Brookhaven's Post Glen Apartments
The woman was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning and then shot. Here injuries were non-life-threatening.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- A woman was robbed and then shot early Saturday at Brookhaven's Post Glen Apartments. According to police, the victim, identified only as a 33-year-old female, was shot in the left thigh. Her injuries were not life threatening.
The victim told police she was walking from her apartment to a friend's unit in the complex when a man, described as being six feet tall with short hair and a thick build, approached her and asked if she had a lighter. She said no, but the suspect then ran toward her.
According to police, the victim tried to use her umbrella to defend herself, but he was able to grab her purse, which contained her wallet and credit cards, and then shoot her. He then fled toward the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe University MARTA station.

The victim's friend heard her screaming and saw her lying on the ground.
