4 Locals Graduate from Berry

At its recent fall commencement, Berry College welcomed 120 new alumni, including four Cartersville natives.

• Michele Taylor graduated with a Master of Education degree in Middle Grades.

• Melissa Wallace graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Honor degree in Psychology.

• Allison Hale graduated with a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood.

• Jason Rood graduated with an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.

Featured speaker Berry Board of Trustees Chair Karen Holley Horrell provided words of inspiration for the graduates. Horrell, divisional president of Corporate Services for the Great American Insurance Co., is the first woman elected chair of the college's senior leadership board.
