Armed Robbery Suspect Found Hiding In Woods

The Cartersville man allegedly robbed Best Buy on Jan. 9 in Kennesaw.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A Bartow County sheriff's deputy tracked down and arrested a man accused of robbing a Best Buy last week in Cobb County.

The deputy was dispatched to a call of a man wanted on robbery charges who was seen in the wood line in the area of 35 Carson Loop around 2:02 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10.

According to a Bartow County Sheriff's Office incident report, the male, identified as Joshua Jonmichael Bullock, 28, was found lying under a dead tree behind the residence.

A check with 911 dispatchers confirmed Bullock, of Cartersville, was wanted by Cobb County police. Bartow County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said Bullock was the suspect in a Jan. 9 armed robbery of Best Buy at 850 Cobb Place Blvd NW in Kennesaw.

Bullock was taken into custody at the Bartow County Jail. Patch has reached out to the Cobb County Police Department for details related to the incident at Best Buy. Return for updates.
