Cartersville Boy Killed In Shooting

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A juvenile male died Wednesday in a shooting at a home in Cartersville, police have confirmed to Patch.

Officers were dispatched to the residence on Aubrey Street to investigate the incident. Cartersville police spokesperson Lt. Mike Bettikofer said an adolescent male was found dead in the home.

While the investigation is active, detectives "do not have anyone in custody at this time, nor are we looking for any suspects," the lieutenant said.
