Duck Dash 5K, Big Peach Half Marathon Registration Closes Sunday

You have only until Sunday at midnight to register for Cartersville's 17th annual Duck Dash 5K and its first half marathon, both on May 14.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Registration ends Sunday at midnight for the 17th running of the Duck Dash 5K and the first Chick-fil-A/Big Peach Half Marathon, both on May 14.

According to race organizers, the Duck Dash 5K will be returning “to its roots” by being staged on its original course. Also, for the first time the 5K will be held in tandem with Cartersville’s first-ever half marathon, co-sponsored by Georgia-based Big Peach Running Co. and Chick-fil-A.

To accommodate the runners, the Cartersville Police Department is asking motorists to be extra careful on Pine Grove Road, Douhit Ferry Road and Indian Mounds Road/Etowah Drive 7-9:30 a.m. the morning of the race.
