An Adairsville officer found the suspected meth after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle adorned with the wrong license plate.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — An Adairsville police officer conducting a traffic stop last week on a vehicle adorned with the wrong license plate unearthed a considerable amount of methamphetamine.
An officer discovered an "odd" vehicle passing through the city at the intersection of Ga. 140 at Joe Frank Harris Parkway/U.S. 41, the Adairsville Police Department said. The gray Ford Taurus was traveling northbound, and was affixed with a Georgia tag only designated for trailers.
The officer conducted a traffic stop on the driver, Alissa Beth Garrett, 39, of Aragon. A search of the woman and the vehicle unearthed a "large bag of suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe," Adairsville police said.
