Man Accused Of Stealing Work Van, Tools In Adairsville
Police found the van Sunday, Oct. 28 parked behind the Adairsville Public Library.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — An Adairsville man is accused of stealing a work van belonging to a construction company and dumping the vehicle behind a library.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, the owners of Caliber Construction reported their white 2000 Ford Econoline work van had been stolen from their property on Ga. 140 west of Interstate 75. It was last seen by employees at the end of the day on Oct. 26.
On the same day the company reported the theft, the van was found behind the Adairsville Public Library at 202 North Main Street. The vehicle was unoccupied and "numerous construction tools stolen from within," police said.

Investigators obtained video surveillance, and identified the suspect as Jebediah Rogers of Adairsville. Police arrested Rogers on Thursday, Nov. 8 and charged him with felony theft by taking. He was transported to the Bartow County Jail and remains held with a $5,000 bond.
