Get a Free Backpack Stuffed with School Supplies at Greenbriar's "Back to School Jam"

On Saturday, July 28, 2012, Greenbriar Mall will give away 1000 free backpacks during their community Back to School Jam from 11am-4pm.

A number of local businesses have joined Amerigroup in donating products, supplies, and inventory to the special bags that will be given away on July 28th.  In addition to the Vendor Fair, the 2012 Back To School Jam will also include School Supplies giveaways, Kids Corner: Bouncers, Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Game Truck and more, live entertainment, great giveaways and more.

Pre-registration to enter your kids in the line for a new backpack starts at 8 a.m. in the mall's South parking lot.  Children must be present at the point of registration and must be in grades 1-12.  The supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to CBS Atlanta:

“We are excited to present the Back to School Jam to give back to the Southwest Atlanta community and the families we serve,” said Greenbriar Mall Marketing Director Gwendolyn Motley. “Our children’s education is vital to the growth of our community and Greenbriar Mall takes pride in being a part of their success.”

In 2011, over 3,500 Southwest Atlanta families attended the Annual Back to School Jam.
