Rep. Keisha Waites Wins Re-Election Bid

Keisha Sean Waites outshines her competition and returns to represent District 60.

Rep. Keisha Sean Waites will remain the Georgia State Representative for District 60.  House District 60 includes parts of Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton counties.

Keisha Waites has wanted to serve in public office for years and struggled to do so for many years before being elected to her seat via a special election.  The seat was held by Democrat Gloria Tinubu.

On Tuesday July 31st, Mrs. Waites was pitted against 4 other candidates that wanted her place in the State Capitol.

Neighbors across the county voted 64% for the incumbent, and to keep Rep. Waites in office.  She now has the mandate to continue to fight for causes such as creating jobs here locally, and implementing ways to help keep our communities safe.
