The 29th Annual National Night Out is 1 Week Away

National Night Out keeps communities safe "block by block."

Communities will once again gather on Tuesday, August 7th, for the 29th Annual National Night Out Event.

This year’s City of Atlanta theme, The More We Get Together, The Safer We’ll Be, promotes keeping our communities safe, block by block. The Atlanta Police Department, the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and other city agencies are working together to get neighborhoods registered for this event.

There is no cost to register.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
