Thousands of Bees Swarm Into City Springs Construction Area
The closure of the Mt. Vernon Highway/Sandy Springs Circle intersection didn't deter a swarm of bees from making their presence known Thursday morning.
Several thousand honey bees touched down on a rock at the City Springs construction site to "sit and rest a spell," the city said.

Georgia residents may be in the path of the 2016 hurricane season's first major storm. At present, the storm in question is kicking around in the Atlantic Ocean. Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center say it’s located between Bermuda and the Bahamas.
