Community Raises Over $44K For Family Of Locksmith Found Dead In Burning Van
As of Monday, more than $44,000 has been raised for the family of the Decatur locksmith who was found dead in his burning work van.

DECATUR, GA — More than $44,000 has been raised to help the family of the mobile locksmith who was found dead in his burning work van last week.
Police are still searching for a suspect after 36-year-old Peter McGrath was found dead June 5. The cause of death has been ruled a homicide. He leaves behind a wife, Amber, and four children. A GoFundMe campaign was launched by Amber, who says he left home for work and never returned.
According to DeKalb police, McGrath was found around 12:30 p.m. Sunday on Mecklinburg Place in Decatur near Towers High School, reported WSB-TV.

The McGraths have been married for four years and their youngest child is 6 months old.
“Two days ago my husband, who is a mobile emergency locksmith, went to do a job in Decatur and never came home," Amber said. "This senseless tragedy is almost too much to bear.
