Nearly 200 DeKalb Tenants Told They Have 2 Months To Move Out: Report
Tenants at a DeKalb County apartment complex were told Tuesday they have to all be out by the end of August, according to a report.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Nearly 200 tenants at a DeKalb County apartment complex have all been given two months to move out, WSB-TV reported.
Residents told the news station they received the lease termination notice on Tuesday night.
The property manager of the Forest at Columbia Apartments on Columbia Drive told WSB-TV that tenants have to be out by Aug. 31 because extensive work on the units needs to be done.
There has been a rodent and mold issue for years, residents told the news station. And according to the property manager, it’s impossible to make the repairs with nearly 200 people living in the apartments.
