Douglas County 4-H Camp Registration Open for Summer 2022

Are you making summer plans for your youth? Want an educational experience filled with loads of fun? Well, 4-H camp is for you! Douglas County 4-H’s annual summer camp is open for registration for current 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. Our 4-H’ers and screened leaders will head to the 4-H Center at Rock Eagle in Eatonton, Georgia, from June 20-24, 2022. During their five days of camp, 4-H’ers will participate in several fun activities including swimming, archery, canoeing, sailing, and even high ropes. Councilors teach interactive classes in herpetology, forestry, wildlife, and many more topics. At camp, 4-H’ers learn about the history of the ancient Rock Eagle Mound and the native people who established it. And camp just wouldn’t be complete without competing in the tribal games to win the coveted tribal shield!

Youth who attend camp make new friends, explore different interests, and have an unforgettable summer! Financial scholarships are available until April 29, 2022. Have questions? Want to register?
