• Douglas Deputy Injured After Car Fails To Move Over On I-20, GSP Says (patch.com) — Douglasville-area readers should know a Douglas County deputy was injured when a driver failed to move over and sideswiped a patrol SUV during an I-20 investigation early Sunday. The deputy was taken to Douglas Wellstar Hospital, while a Georgia State Patrol trooper in a second struck vehicle reported discomfort but declined treatment, and authorities have not yet said whether charges will be filed.
