Alair Homes Marietta and Alair Homes Decatur Support NARI Cares

Nearly 100 golfers participated in the 12th Annual NARI Atlanta Golf Tournament Oct. 20, presented by Alair North Georgia’s Marietta and Decatur offices. The event benefited NARI Cares, a charitable endeavor that conducts volunteer remodeling projects for neighbors in need and supports local workforce development through scholarships, internships, apprenticeships and employment. NARI is the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the country's premier association for remodeling professionals.

Alair Homes Marietta began as Atlanta Design & Build, founded by H. Dale Contant, a well-known and respected metro Atlanta remodeler and custom home builder. Currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary year, the residential design/build firm is now part of Alair, the largest and fastest-growing premium construction management franchise in North America. Contant has served as NARI Atlanta President, as well as President of NARI’s national office, and two terms as the national NARI Chairman of the Board.

Alair Homes Decatur was founded in 2001 by Peter Michelson as Renewal Design Build. He and his brother, David Michelson, who joined the firm in 2004 and is currently President of NARI Atlanta, are fourth-generation builders, specializing in custom home building and home renovations and remodeling. In 2018, their firm became part of Alair, and includes Partners Heather Shuster and Ken Carter.
