Apartment Fire Displaces Dozens In Marietta: Report

More than 30 families have been displaced after a late-night fire at some Marietta apartments.

MARIETTA, GA -- More than 30 people woke up Thursday morning without a home after a late-night apartment blaze in Cobb County damaged several units, Patch has learned. The blaze took place at the Whitlock Properties on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta, according to news reports.

About 11 p.m. the fast-moving fire engulfed eight units of the complex, WAGA-TV reports.

No injuries were reported.
